Peons Assemble! (With a ukulele!) No, this isn’t Scrubs. It’s Cougar Town.

On last night’s Smash, Ivy Lynn (as Marylin Monroe) is made to play a ukulele.

On Cougar Town, the Cul-de-Sac Crew visits Hawaii. Grayson claims to have purchased this uke for $5 before it gets smashed. If anyone can find me a Lanakai for $5, I’d be very interested. (Also, you should all watch Cougar Town, because it is awesome.)

Side note: the smashed ukulele has different tuning pegs.

And here’s another ukulele sighting in this week’s SNL. This time played by Fake!Zooey Deschanel (Abby Elliot) in the opening of the “Being Quirky with Zooey Deschanel” sketch.
